Sanford 4th of July Festivities

4:00 PM

The city of Sanford is hosting a block party at Number One Pond with vendors, a water ski show, and fireworks.

The ski show by Maine Attraction Water Ski Show Team starts at 6:30 p.m. (warm/pre-show is at 6 p.m.)

Portland Fireworks

9:15 PM

City of Portland fireworks will be hosted on the Eastern Promenade and scheduled for 9:15 pm with a rain date of July 5th. 

They will be viewable from East End Beach, Fort Allen Park, Amethyst Park, Baxter Boulevard, Payson Park, Martin’s Point on Veranda Street, and Bug Light in South Portland.

L.L. Bean's 10k has been an Independence Day staple for over 40 years! All proceeds support the YMCA of Southern Maine Casco Bay Branch.

Take your spot along Freeport’s Main Street as L.L. Bean's classic American parade marches through town.

Freeport Concert and Laser Show

7:30 PM

Join L.L. Bean in their Discovery Park for a concert by genre-bending orchestra Pink Martini, featuring China Forbes. Then stick around for pollution-free fireworks, as a stunning display of colorful laser lights fill the sky.

Ocean Park's 72nd Annual Independence Day parade!

10:00 AM-10:45 AM

The Parade is open to all ages (costumes encouraged!). Led by the color guard and the Ocean Park Band, the Parade forms on Temple Ave. at the Bell Tower. The marshal of the Parade is Frank Gwalthney. Free popsicles are provided for all young parade participants at the Bandstand after the Parade, courtesy of Steven and Judy Breitmaier, owners of The Soda Fountain & Variety Store. Kids, feel free to decorate your bikes at home and ride them in the parade! The parade will be followed by a Band Concert at the Bandstand (held at the Temple in the event of rain).

Ocean Park Independence Day Band Concert

Concert by the Ocean Park Band after the Parade! Featuring popular patriotic marches such as Souza, Fillmore, Cohen and others.  Held at either the Bandstand, moved to the Temple if rain.

Ogunquit Fireworks

9:15 PM

See a dazzling fireworks display in Ogunquit. The display will be visible from Main Beach all the way up to Footbridge Beach, North Beach and beyond. Rain Date: July 5.

Sanford Parade

10:00 AM

Monday, July 4th we will have our parade down Main Street for the first time since 2019.

The parade starts at 10 a.m. at Malcolm Ave and ends at Gowen Park.
