Checking off another restaurant from our list of the restaurants that offer heated outdoor dining!
We've been following The Yard on Instagram for a while and we couldn't wait to check out their sweet creations.

The igloos are free to rent for an hour and a half with no check minimum Monday through Thursday. It costs $40 to it and you must spend $100 minimum ($40 rental does not apply) Friday - Sunday.

As tempting as it was to jump right to dessert selection, we started with ordering pretty much everything on the menu (the menu is small, so we could try most of the items and still have room for sweet treats).
We tried nachos, buffalo chicken dip, pretzels, pulled BBQ pork tacos, and mac and cheese. Everything was excellent and perfect for sharing.

And then it was time for dessert!
We got a chocolate peanut butter extreme hot chocolate board and two s'mores boards: one traditional and one waffle board.
I am usually not a big fan of cakes or peanut butter/chocolate combination (I know, right?), but this cake was delicious! I would definitely order it again.
Be careful - the hot chocolate is 🔥VERY HOT🔥!

The DIY s'mores were a perfect way to end the night. The kids loved roasting marshmallows and assembling their own treats.
