We had so much fun dining in a fish shack a few weeks ago that we decided to try another place from our list of the restaurants that offer heated outdoor dining.
This time we made a reservation for an igloo at Mast Landing Brewing Company in Westbrook.
You can reserve an igloo here. There is no fee to rent the igloo but you will be charged a $20 cancellation fee if you are a no-show.
The igloos are equipped with heaters but they are not so warm that you will be tempted to take off your winter jacket.
Food is available to order from Mainstay Wednesday-Sunday. Monday & Tuesday you are welcome to bring outside food.
You can order food and drinks right from your phone. Just scan the QR code in the igloo, choose the items, pay, and you are done!
The items will be placed on the barrel by your igloo for a completely contactless experience.
Since Mast Landing is a brewery, the drinks menu is way longer than the food menu. But this is as expected.
We ordered a BLT and a braised beef sandwich. Both were very good.
This was another great outdoor dining experience! Yummy food in our private pod - a perfect weekend lunch!
We can't wait to check out another restaurant from our list.
