Hello Everyone!
My name is Larysa and I am the new publisher of Macaroni Kid Portland.
I am a mom of a wonderful 11-year old daughter and we are always on the lookout for fun family activities in our area. Getting a weekly email from Macaroni Kid with the list of local events was a great way to discover new things to do together. When I learned that Kim was retiring from publishing, I jumped at the opportunity to provide this fantastic service to local families.
My goal is to help you find local family fun and support local businesses. This year had been tough for all of us and our neighboring businesses need all the support they can get.
While there are not that many "in-person" events this year, I will do my best to find and share as many family fun events as possible (some may be virtual). I am also going to publish parenting tips, travel guides, craft ideas, giveaways, and more, so make sure to subscribe to the weekly newsletter and follow Macaroni Kid Portland on Facebook.
