Make Special Memories at Seashore Trolley Museum this Holiday Season

Open for Kennebunkport’s 38th Annual Christmas PreludeTM, the Seashore Trolley Museum welcomes guests from December 6th – 15th for rides on heated, decked out trolleys on their private heritage railroad. Tickets are $10/person and include warm, gooey chocolate chip cookies and luscious hot chocolate! Tickets are available at the door, and children two and under are free.

Prelude Trolley Rides will be offered every 30 minutes on the following dates and times:

--Friday, December 6th – Sunday, December 8th: 10AM-3:30PM

--Tuesday, December 10th & Thursday, December 12th: 10AM-1:30PM (admission is only $7, festive craft and story for all ages included—a perfect group activity!)

--Friday, December 13th – Sunday, December 15th: 10AM-3:30PM


The Seashore Trolley Museum is also hosting special limited seating holiday events. Book today at www.trolleymuseum.org/events or by calling 207-967-2800 x111. Seats are still available (but going fast!) for the following events:  

--New Event in 2019! Family Sleigh Ride, Saturday/Sunday December 7th & 8th, 12PM and 4PM: Make memories with your loved ones with a ride on the Golden Chariot, the museum’s open trolley and very own sleigh, singing carols! At the end of the ride warm up with hot chocolate and S’Mores!  Tickets are $15/person. 

--Surprise! Santa’s on the Trolley! Wednesday, December 11th and Saturday, December 14th, 4PM and 5PM: Enjoy a short story and sing-along when you arrive at the Visitors Center.  Board the trolley with a jingle bell and a covered cup of hot chocolate to sip on during this after-dark ride in a heated trolley car. When you board the trolley, SURPRISE! Santa’s riding with you! Tickets are $25/person and include a bag filled with goodies to take home. 

--Golden Chariot Ride and Cocktail Party, Friday, December 13th, 5PM: The Golden Chariot, a completely open trolley, will whisk you down the tracks with only the glow of the festive lights on the trolley illuminating the way. Tickets are $30/person and include two signature cocktails and appetizers at the Visitors Center after the ride. 

Located at 195 Log Cabin Road in Kennebunkport, the Seashore Trolley Museum is the world’s oldest and largest electric railway and transit museum. The Museum is dog-friendly, with plenty of parking.
