WinterKids is Warming Up to Summer

Win a FREE WinterKids App Membership

By Sponsored Content for WinterKids May 9, 2019

WinterKids had an amazing winter season with the release of our new WinterKids App! The App allowed us to expand opportunities for kids ages 3-17 to get outside and get active all across Maine and New Hampshire this past winter. We had over 80 recreational partners, promoted over 175 free or discounted winter fun opportunities, and engaged nearly 4,000 people around the state. The flexibility that the App offered compared to the static paper book that used to be printed was invaluable to families. Deals were constantly being added throughout the winter to provide more and more family fun. We hope you found your fun with the WinterKids App!

Publisher's Note: My family thoroughly enjoyed using our WinterKids App this past winter. Hailey and Lila enjoyed free or reduced ski lessons at Sugarloaf, Sunday River and Mt. Abram, plus we enjoyed ice skating as a family and various other discounts and deals. Whenever we'd start planning for our weekends, we'd check the WinterKids App first. It saved us hundreds of dollars this past winter.

Now you're thinking, ok, but winter is only one (looooooooong) season in Maine . . . what about the rest of the seasons?

We are excited to announce that we are branching into spring, summer and fall activities for kids as well! We are working hard to get more free or discounted deals for kids to participate in various summer activities. From mountain biking to disc golf to rock climbing adventures, the WinterKids App is a great resource for any active family.

A family membership cost $35 through September 30, 2019 and covers a parent and up to 4 kids. Anyone with a current membership already has access to these great deals. Folks can sign up or learn more online at https://winterkids.org/winterkids-app/.
