We have some exciting news! Portland Pie Company is dedicating the month of October, once again, to "Support Scarborough Education Foundation". They will host a pumpkin decorating activity for school-aged children every Saturday and Sunday of October (and Monday of Columbus Day Weekend). Families will go into the restaurant to enjoy some pizza and decorate a pumpkin (both pumpkins and decorations will be supplied by Portland Pie). There will be a $5 suggested donation per child for the pumpkin and decorations, and the $5 will be donated to SEF. As a thank you for participating, Portland Pie will supply each of the children with a free, small root beer float.
Can it get any better than that? YES, because throughout the month (everyday!!!) starting October 5th running throughout Thursday, October 31, Portland Pie staff will sell $1 paper pumpkins to families dining at the restaurant and allow them to decorate a pumpkin. They will then hang the pumpkins in the restaurant and donate the money raised to the SEF. Come on, that is a total win, win. You enjoy yummy pizza with your family and SEF raises money for grants going to our teachers and classrooms!!! See you all at Portland Pie Co.!!
